We are currently seeking opportunities for Phase 1 – 4 clinical research studies.
We have a new dedicated facility designed and built for Phase 1A & 1B studies. The Phase 1 facility has all the amenities required including: fully staffed metabolic kitchen, private rooms with individual bath/showers/quantitative output collection, -20 and -70 freezers, refrigerated centrifuges, vital signs monitors, ECG Mac 1200, temperature controlled refrigerators, multiple IV/phlebotomy trained nurses with 24 hour coverage and infusion study/clamp training, temperature controlled secure drug storage, crash cart, and dry ice storage area.
We are associated with this area’s largest advanced diabetes/endocrine center with well-established referral base and motivated patient population. We have extensive experience in diabetes drug and device studies, and an established reputation for enrollment and retention of our study subjects.
Our dedicated research staff includes a Principal Investigator with over 30 years of clinical research experience, an Assistant Director MD with 10 years of clinical research experience, 2 Advanced Practice Nurses (APN’s), 1 Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Coordinator, 1 Full-time Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), 1 Full-time Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) for regulatory and budgets, and 1 Registered Dietician (RD/CDE), 3 Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE’s), 1 Research Assistant, and 1 Certified Insulin Pump Trainer.
As an independent research center, we can use either local or central Institutional Review Board (IRB) with rapid turnaround on regulatory and contractual matters. Our staff is GCP/ICH trained and IATA-certified, and experienced with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) formats including: InForm, Datalabs, Medidata Rave, Oracle and RDC Onsite.
